Tags: We’ve all been there – the pharmacy – waiting in the long line and questioning “why” when there are at least seven people working behind the counter. Then after receiving our prescription we have questions so we wait even longer to talk to the pharmacist.
The times are changing! The days of waiting in line or hoping to speak to the pharmacist will soon be over! All thanks to new innovative technology – a next-generation robotic dispensing system.
The technology allows pharmacies to handle growing prescription volumes with greater accuracy (100% for drug and dose) and allows pharmacists to deliver the quality patient care that customers prefer in an increasingly competitive market.
If you’re interested in a trend piece on new technologies that will change the daily operation for pharmacies and, in turn, have an impact on consumers, please contact me. I've pasted a press release below. I also have an expert spokesperson available for interviews.

Every time a 'crack'berry server breaks down for two hours the business world is flipped upside-down.
Commanding a substantial global R&D investment, cell phones have become the pinnacle of technology advancement this decade - taking on an increasingly converged approach with GPS, PDA, MP3 and becoming an even more critical part of our life.
Since airports now charge travelers a per-luggage fee, laptops have become an expensive proposition for the frequent flyer making cell phones as laptop replacements an even more viable future. Bill Gates foresees cell phones that can easily connect to TVs and keyboards becoming full-fledged laptop replacements. In the Philippines 5.5 million people already use cell phones as digital wallets and the portable MP3 player is an archaic concept.
The flip side of this new high-tech world is that your personal information (bank accounts, contacts, text messages, addresses) are in one small device that is often lost or stolen and which is constantly co More... |

Tags: Delve Networks (www.delvenetworks.com) recently introduced the world's first semantic video platform. The intention is to give consumers a more engaging experience. By combining speech recognition and semantic processing the platform is the first to enable users to navigate within a hosted video file to find the exact content they want. For example, if a viewer was watching a stock market recap online but only cared about what happened to Yahoo! that day, he or she could type in "yahoo" within the player and the sections that pertained to the search would light up along the content's timebar, showing the user where to skip ahead to.
Try out Delve's technology for yourself at www.kcchiefs.com.

I'm writing about Better Place, one of the first venture-backed companies to tackle this energy crisis head-on. Former SAP exec and Better Place founder Shai Agassi aims to reduce oil dependency through the creation of a transportation infrastructure that supports electric vehicles. The idea behind it is to charge for the eletric grid usage and make the cars so cheap that no one will ever think of buying a gasoline car.
You can read more about Better Place and Agassi in a recent NY Times op-ed by Thomas Friedman here: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/27/opinion/27friedman.html?_r=1&scp=3&sq=shai%20agassi&st=cse&oref=slogin. Also, Better Place has just launched its first campaign targeted to the public, bascially it's social networking for the oil dependancy issue, www.betterplace.com/10words. Check it out, play around and post your own mini-festo.
Francisco, I'll be happy to connect you with a spokesperson if needed. Even if you don't vote, go check out the 10 words site. Thanks all More... |
